To give the 2011 World Press Photo contest a more personal touch, this year Canon created a customized World Press Photo Yearbook for the 2011 award-winning photographers.

Featuring their winning pictures on the cover, the extra surprise illustrated the power of print and Canon’s commitment to sharing stories with the world.

Kieran Magee, Professional Photo Marketing Director, Canon Europe addressed the winners and industry professionals at the annual Canon prizewinners dinner, hosted at Amsterdam’s Oude Kerk church, saying: “Canon’s relationship with World Press Photo remains one of our most important professional activities.”
