Website update with multimedia

The coverage on the World Press Photo website of this year's award-winning work and its authors has been considerably extended, including a special interview project together with the University of Miami School of Communication.

All photographs in the Winners Gallery now include full captions and your questions on who's who are answered by short biographies and portraits of the photographers.

In addition, a multimedia project we organized jointly with the University of Miami School of Communication presents interviews with this year's first prize winners. By clicking on the photographs shown alongside the interviews you can zoom in on particular details.

The interview footage was recorded in Amsterdam during the Awards Days. The project was funded by the Knight Center for International Media.
