2014 World Press Photo Contest
The results of the photo contest will be announced on 14 February 2014 in a press conference and on the World Press Photo website at 14.00 CET. The jury will award first, second and third prizes in all categories for single images and for stories. First-prize winners in each category will receive a cash prize of €1,500. Winners of second and third prizes and those awarded an honorable mention receive a Golden Eye Award and a diploma. The premier award, the World Press Photo of the Year, carries a cash prize of €10,000. In addition, Canon will donate a professional camera and lens kit to the author of the World Press Photo of the Year 2013. The annual Awards Days, a celebration of the prizewinners, will take place in Amsterdam from 24 to 25 April 2014. The prize-winning pictures will be presented in an exhibition that will travel to more than 100 cities in over 45 countries, beginning in Amsterdam on 18 April 2014.

2014 World Press Photo Multimedia Contest
Judging will take place at the World Press Photo office in Amsterdam in March 2014 and the results will be announced on 24 March 2014. Participants can enter in three categories: Short Feature, Long Feature and Interactive Documentary. The first place winner in each category will be awarded a cash award of €1,500 and a Golden Eye Award. Winners of second and third prizes receive a Golden Eye Award and a diploma. The awards will be presented at the Awards Ceremony on Friday, 25 April 2014 in Amsterdam.
