Stanislav Tereba

Stanislav Tereba (Czechoslovakia) was born in 1938 in Prague. After years as an amateur photographer, he began working for the Czechoslovakian evening newspaper Vecerni Praha in 1957. He remained with that newspaper for 34 years, covering sports until 1991. Tereba has held exhibitions in the Czech Republic and Germany and has been the recipient of several awards over the course of his career, including an award for best Czech newspaper photography and the top award from an exhibition of the 100 best sports photographs of the year.
