Mustafa Bozdemir (Turkey) began his career at the Ulus Daily in Ankara in 1965 and graduated from Ankara Journalism Academy in 1975. He has worked for several Turkish newspapers, and from 1991 to 1998 he was the Press Advisor for the Turkish Ministry of Environment. He remains the Turkish Press Advisor to the Municipality Workers Union. In 1983, his awards included the Istanbul Journalists Association News Photo of the Year Award and the University of Missouri School of Journalism News Photo of the Year Award.
