Anthony Suau (USA) became a contract photographer for TIME magazine in 1991. In 1984, he was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of Ethiopia, and in 1996 received the Robert Capa Gold Medal for his reportage on the Chechnyan war. Currently based in Paris, he has continued to work as a TIME contract photographer. Recent publications and exhibitions include, in 2003, a book and exhibition entitled Between World - Kabul/New York 2001, which juxtaposes photographs made in the aftermath of 9/11 with images from Kabul following the withdrawal of the Taliban and, in 2004 FEAR THIS, about America during the invasion of Iraq.
