Nicolas Righetti (40), Switzerland, followed first a course in social studies then one in audio-visual studies at the Beaux-Arts de Genève before working as a photo editor with a Swiss newspaper. At the same time, his journeys through the world, especially in Asia, awakened an interest in political figures in the countries he visited - an interest he began to express with his camera. He began doing work for Swiss and international magazines, and made a book and film on North Korea. Righetti currently works as press photographer with the Rezo.ch agency in Geneva.
