Arianna Rinaldo is photo editor at
D magazine, the weekend supplement of Italy's leading newspaper La Repubblica. She is also editor-in-chief of OjodePez, a quarterly documentary photography magazine, where she is responsible for selecting and supervising the work of the magazine's guest photo editors.
Arianna's relationship with photography became a full-immersion commitment as archive director at Magnum Photos, New York, in 1998. Back in Italy, she worked as photo editor for Colors magazine, commissioning photographers for documentary projects that fulfilled the magazine's thematic and social objectives.
Since 2004, she has been based in Milan, freelancing as a curator for exhibitions and book projects, and also as a photo editor, image consultant and agent for photographers. A reviewer and participant in various international photo events, Arianna was in 2008 on the jury of the first Ojodepez Award for Human Values, made during the Photoespaña photography festival in Madrid.
