Celina Lunsford, Germany/USA, is artistic director of the photographic exhibition and learning center Fotografie Forum Frankfurt. She grew up in the southern United States, but has lived in Germany since 1986. Lunsford holds a degree in art history and photography. Her professional experience spans over 20 years of curating exhibitions, writing, and organizing publications, workshops and events concerning photography.
She has been a member of numerous juries, including those for the Leica Photography Award and the Koerber Award. In 2007, she was a facilitator for the ASEF Forum for Young Photographers, and is a founding member of the Arbeitskreis Neue Bildsprache Lead Awards. Lunsford has published a wide range of exhibition books, and has been invited as a critic to such festivals as Fotofest Meeting Place Beijing, the Lodz Fotofestiwal, Poland, and the Photo Biennale in Thessalonica.
