Saiful Huq Omi chose to contrast two stories about the Rohingya, a Muslim ethnic minority in western Burma, which has suffered human rights violations under the ruling military junta. He photographed the lives of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh who stayed in camps where conditions are often squalid and medical care is inadequate. Omi also followed the lives of Rohingya who had resettled in the UK to capture how they had adapted to their new lives.
