The book features the photo essays made by the 12 participants of the annual Joop Swart Masterclass, a leading program for recognizing and showcasing emerging talent in visual reporting worldwide. Next#04 will be available in bookstores and on the World Press Photo website as of 14 November 2014.

The 5 members of the 2014 Joop Swart Masterclass selection committee vote during the selection process on Wednesday, 23 April.

World Press Photo announced the 12 young photographers who have been selected for the 21st edition of the annual World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass. The announcement was made during the Awards Days.
