Balance, 2008 Joop Swart Masterclass

Participants in the 15th Joop Swart Masterclass each produced a photo essay on the 2008 theme, Balance. An edit of these essays has been published in a hardcover photo book, entitled Balance, which shares the context of each story and the photographer's ideas and approach.

Balance is an edit of the masterclass participants’ photo essays, each with its distinctive – often widely variant – interpretation of the theme. This hardcover book also puts the stories into perspective, and provides background information on the participants and their masters. Balance presents a variety of styles, interpretation and insight.
