Lorenzo Cicconi Massi

Lorenzo Cicconi Massi is a photographer born and based in Senigallia, Italy.

In 1999, he was awarded the Italian Canon Prize for the best photographic portfolio and joined the agency Contrasto one year later. In 2007, Lorenzo Cicconi Massi was awarded in the 'Sports, singles' category of the annual World Press Photo Contest. In the same year, he received the G.R.I.N. award (Amilcare Ponchielli) for his series Loyal to the Tribe, focused on young people.

In 2012, Lorenzo Cicconi Massi worked at the Altagamma 'Italian Contemporary Excellence' project, with the most important Made in Italy companies. He received the 'Scanno dei fotografi' award in 2018. 

Lorenzo Cicconi Massi's work has been exhibited at the Venice Biennale, Paris Photo, the Ferragamo Museum in Florence, the Contrasto Gallery in Milan, the Montecitorio Palace in Rome, and at Capri Foundation.

Lorenzo Cicconi Massi made his debut as a movie director in 2003 with the movie 'Prova a Volare,' and in 2011 he directed the movie 'Mi ricordo Mario Giacomelli' with the participation of important personalities of Italian photography and art.
