Stephanie Harke is a freelance photo editor, photographer and producer whose personal interests lie in photojournalism and documentary photography.
Harke started her career in photography with an apprenticeship at GEO Magazine in Germany, where she became a photo editor. Since 2009, she has been working as a professional photographer on personal projects and assignments, as well as working as an editor for several magazines and agencies such as STERN, Art, DB mobil, C3 Creative Code and Content, Territory, Looping Group and others.
In 2021, Harke began studying Art History and Aesthetics at Braunschweig University of Art (HBK Braunschweig).
Harke is jury member of the Global Peace Photo Award and has been portfolio reviewer at Visa Pour L’Image in Perpignan and in Arles, France, at Photo Plus Expo in New York, United States, at Lumix Festival in Hanover, Germany and Gute Aussichten in Hamburg, Germany.
