Billel Zehani (Algeria, 1981) sees himself as a survivor engaged in a continuous struggle to ensure that each of his pictures reflects and transmits what his eye has seen. In the various phases of his career, he has concentrated on terrorism, his country’s political and social reforms, sports, culture, and stories on specialist subjects. His work has been published in the continent-wide news medium Jeune Afrique and by The Associated Press. The New Press agency distributes his images in Algeria.
