Justin Maxon, USA, was born in a small town in the woods of northern California, and took to photography at an early age. He is interested mainly in pursuing long-term projects that examine the complexities of human struggle. His clients include Time, Newsweek, The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times. Justin has received numerous awards for his photography, including a World Press Photo first prize, UNICEF Images of the Year, POYi, and NPPA's Best of Photojournalism. He won the Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year at the 2008 Lucie Awards, the same year he was named one of PDN's 30 Emerging Photographers to Watch.
