Tomasz Lazar is a freelance photographer, born in 1985 in Szczecin, Poland. He is a graduate of West University of Technology, in computer science, and a first-year student in photography at the Univesity of Opava. Lazar has participated in many workshops, such as with Tomasz Tomaszewski, Michale Ackerman, and the Eddie Adams Workshop in the US. He has won photography competitions in Poland and abroad, including a Sony World Photography Award, an International Photography Award, and BZ WBK Press Photo, and he has been nominated in the Deeper Perspective Photographer of the Year category at the International Photography Award. His work has been published in magazines and newspapers worldwide, including The New York Times, Burn Magazine, Radiate Magazine, Pokochaj Fotografie, Rzeczpospolita, and Gazeta Wyborcza. Since 2011, Lazar has been a member of the collective Un-posed, associated with street photography.
