Issa Touma is a film director, photographer and has been the curator of Le Pont Gallery and Aleppo Photo Festival for twelve years.
Through his work, he tries to connect the international art community with his native country. Since 1996, he has managed the Le Pont Gallery, with the aim to promote freedom of expression and appreciation of the local art scene through events and exhibitions.
His work is included in international collections including the Victoria & Albert Museum in London and Fotomuseum Antwerpen and has been recognized by the European Film Award, the London Film Festival and the International Short Film Festival in New York.
