We’re pleased to announce the selected participants for the 27th edition of the Joop Swart Masterclass, the World Press Photo Foundation’s prestigious education program. For the first time, the masterclass will be held online, and 24 participants and 8 masters have been selected to make the program more inclusive. Meet the selected visual storytellers.

The African Photojournalism Database (APJD) is a directory of emerging and professional African visual journalists reporting on cultural, economic, environmental, political and social issues on the continent, as well as sports, nature, and stories of everyday life.
