Ann Rigney

Ann Rigney is professor of Comparative Literature, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. A specialist in cultural memory and cross-media storytelling, she currently directs an EU-funded project called Remembering Activism that examines how protest is culturally remembered. 

Her many publications include The Visual Memory of Protest, co-edited with Thomas Smits, and due to appear with Amsterdam University Press (2023).
