Drago, or Victor Dragonetti, is the newest photographer represented by the DOC Gallery.
The 24-year-old is the most talented of the new generation of Brazilian photojournalists and became known nationally for his work from the June 2013 demonstrations in São Paulo.
He was a finalist in the photography category of the Esso Award 2013 with two works from the direct confrontations in the streets. Drago was also awarded by Year of Photography for his photo of injured police pointing a gun at demonstrators in the series "In Process, 2013,". This series was recently acquired by businessman and collector Silvio Fortaleza Fleet, to be shown in his upcoming photography museum.
