Jovan Ritopecki

Serbian photographer Jovan Ritopecki was the official photographer of the partisans in Yugoslavia during the Second World War. After the war, he became a photojournalist for the Belgrade newspaper Politika. In the 1970s he came to Vienna, Austria, and became head of the information department of the Vereins Jedinstvo (Jedinstvo Association for Art and Culture) and thus the offical photographer of the Yugoslav community in Austria. He died in 1989.
