Hugh Pinney started as a news photographer back in the dark ages of film. He became Assistant Editor at Reuters for six years and has run the news operation at Getty Images in London since 2003.
Pinney is a profound lover of great photojournalism – a love which has never waned over the course of his career. In his own words he has “been lucky enough to work with photographers far better than I ever was, ever since coming off the road.”
