Mariella Furrer is a Swiss-Lebanese photographer, who was born in Beirut and grew up in Kenya. She has worked as a photojournalist for 20 years. Furrer’s passion is to shine a light on injustice around the world. After working on a project on child sexual abuse for 10 years, she recently produced a book, My Piece of Sky: Stories of Child Sexual Abuse.
Furrer has won several awards and grants, and her work has appeared in various international publications, exhibitions and museums. She lives between Kenya and South Africa.
