He is currently working on his PhD at the Inter-Action Department of Computer Science of Trento. There Moretti researches visual journalism methods and practices working with transdisciplinary teams to communicate the complexity of social phenomena in a more transparent and engaging information, to a broader audience.
Matteo is a TEDx speaker, World Press Photo Jury member, Visualized.io speaker, awarded with the Data Journalism Award and European Design Award.
