May Abdalla
She has worked on immersive parties, night time romps through the Tower of London, as well as the the award-winning Door Into The Dark, a giant sensory journey into darkness exploring what it means to be lost.
Abdalla has been commissioned by the BBC, Channel 4 and Al Jazeera English to make documentary films around the world. She spent a year following school children in Damascus for BBC 4, as well as a year on the streets of Cairo following the revolution. She is presently working on a film about the future sovereignty of the North Pole.
May also works at BBC Arabic as an executive producer on digital storytelling projects.
