Nicole Robbers

Nicole Robbers studied art history, after which she started her employment at the Dutch national newspaper NRC Handelsblad as picture editor in 1999. She became the deputy manager of the picture desk 12 years later. Twice, she took on the role of master at the Joop Swart Masterclass, in 2001 and 2010.

From 2011 onwards, she joined the Board of the Zilveren Camera, the largest photojournalism contest with a focus on the Netherlands. Currently, she works as an independent picture editor. Her client portfolio includes NRC Next and 360 International Magazine.
