Born in 1985, Amru Salahuddien is an Egyptian photojournalist based in Cairo. He originally studied fine arts and specialized in painting, but a year after graduation made the switch to journalism.
In late 2008, Amru began covering wars and conflicts in the Middle East, including the Gaza war, the Libyan war, and the Egyptian uprising. He also concentrates on humanitarian issues in the area.
