Her work, focusing on both portraiture and nature, has been featured in the New York Times Magazine, The New Yorker and Random House.
Alongside her photography, Carla also lectures and teaches throughout Europe at numerous institutions, including Utrecht University, the University of Edinburgh, and the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.
