Olivia Harris is a British documentary photographer and filmmaker, based in London, UK.
She worked in the theatre, directing and producing productions, before devoting herself to pictures. She worked as a photojournalist for Reuters in London and South-East Asia, covering stories in earthquake stricken Nepal, the Rohingya refugee crisis, and elections in Myanmar and Taiwan.
She now focuses on documentary work with a particular interest in gender politics and race. Her work has been exhibited in London, Los Angeles, New York, France, Spain and Colombia. She received a grant from the International Media Women's Foundation to complete her latest project.
