Alejandro Prieto is a professional wildlife and underwater photographer from Guadalajara, Mexico.
Prieto mainly focuses on conservation photography, including working together with Alianza Jaguar AC, a foundation dedicated to Jaguar conservation.
He has received numerous wildlife photography awards, including the Photojournalist Award Single in Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2019, the Photojournalist Award Photo Story in Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2018, 2nd prize in the Wildlife category of the National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year in 2017.
