Visit the World Press Photo Exhibition 2026 on its global tour, showcasing the stories that shape and connect the world through photography from the 69th annual World Press Photo Contest.
Presenting the works of the 42 awarded photographers, the annual exhibition brings depth and nuance to our understanding of the world’s complexities, highlighting the most compelling photojournalism and documentary photography of the past year. The winners of the 2026 World Press Photo Contest were chosen by an independent jury of 31 professionals from around the world, who reviewed more than 57,376 photographs entered by 3,747 photographers from 141 countries.

The Brisbane Powerhouse building is open 7 days a week. Monday to Tuesday: 9.00 - 17.00 (later if a show is on)
Wednesday to Saturday: 9.00 till late Sunday: 9.00 - 18.00 (later if a show is on)
