Eddy van der Veen

Eddy van der Veen is a French photojournalist and foreign trade consultant. He was born in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, and later naturalized as a French citizen. He studied at the École des Sciences Politiques, Paris, in the late 1940s and moved permanently to France in 1953 after working as a photographer at the Mutual Security Agency, Washington, DC.
Van Der Veen became a freelance photographer for Time, LIFE, and Time Life Books, as well as for Fortune, IBM, and the New York Times. He photographed many renowned historical figures throughout the early 1980s.
