Eduardo Anizelli

Eduardo Anizelli is a photojournalist who studied journalism at the Universidade Norte do Paraná in Brazil and began his career as a photojournalist at the newspaper Folha de Londrina

He later worked as a freelance photographer for O Estado de S.Paulo and Getty Images. In 2008, he joined Folha de S.Paulo as a freelancer and became a staff photographer in 2012, a position he continues to hold.

Anizelli’s work has received several recognitions, including being a finalist for the Esso Journalism Award in 2013 and receiving an Honorable Mention from the Vladimir Herzog Award for Amnesty and Human Rights in 2024. He won the Folha Journalism Award in the photography category in 2015, 2019, 2024, and 2026.

His photographs have been published in leading Brazilian newspapers and magazines and internationally in outlets including The New York Times and Life magazine.
