Edwina Pickles was born and raised in Sydney, Australia. Her work focuses on photographing daily life in Australia, from environmental portraits to humanitarian issues.
After completing a Bachelor's degree at Sydney University, where she majored in photography and film, Pickles started work as a staff photographer at The Sydney Morning Herald.
