Shehab has worked as a photographer, and team-leader at Sangbad and Drik. His work has been exhibited globally and won numerous awards, including Magnum Foundation Emergency Fund, Alexia Foundation Professional Grant, and All Roads (HM) National Geographic, WHO, and Asahi Shimbun.
He has been published internationally, in The New York Times, Vice, Time Journal of Photography, The Politiken, USA Today, The Guardian, Der Spiegel, and Nepali Times, amongst others.
Shehab’s work is in the collections of Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts (Japan), State Library of Queensland (Australia) Dhaka Nagar Jadughar (Dhaka City Museum) and Liberation War Museum (Bangladesh).
Shehab has completed Doctor of Visual Arts in 2017 at GU and was named a Panos Media Fellow in 2005.
