Laure Troussière

Laure Troussière is deputy chief photo editor at the daily newspaper Libération. She is based in Paris, France.

Laure Troussière joined Libération's photo desk in 2010 and has worked for different sections and pages: society, ideas, international pages, culture, portraits and covers. She created her own section dedicated to food contemporary photography on Libération's website, ‘La cerise sur la photo.’ 

From 2000 to 2015 Laure Troussière worked for Arte channel as a journalist, especially for the TV program ‘Tracks,’ reporting about contemporary art. She was working as photo editor for several French magazines at the same time. In 2005 she created the blog ‘Zoum Zoum’ about contemporary photography with journalist Clementine Mercier from Libération and photographer Christophe Maout. Each summer, as all photo editors from Libération, Laure Troussière writes articles and prepares slideshows about contemporary photographic works. For two years, she has participated in writing and collage sessions in Paris. 

Laure Troussière studied art history at l'Ecole du Louvre, Paris, France.
