Roie Galitz (b. 1980) is an award-winning wildlife photographer, entrepreneur and educator.
He is an ambassador for Nikon Europe, Gitzo, Sandisk Professional, Lowepro, and Greenpeace.
For two decades, Galitz has been exploring and documenting our planet’s wildlife. His photographs have been presented in local and international exhibitions, featured in magazines including National Geographic and honored with international awards over the course of his career. As a public speaker, he gives talks around the world, from the United Nations HQ to TEDx, climate summits and more.
Galitz was named in The Marker's 40 under 40 list in 2017. He shares his knowledge and passion with tens of thousands of photography lovers at the establishments he founded: Galitz School of Photography, a photography school in Israel (founded 2007); Phototeva Expeditions, a photography expedition company (founded 2010); Composition Magazine, a photography magazine in Israel (founded 2009 that ran until 2014); and the Annual Israeli Photography Convention (founded 2008 that ran until 2019).
