Saber Nuraldin

Saber Nuraldin (b. 1980) is a photographer from Gaza, Palestine. He began his career at the age of 17 working with Agence France-Presse (AFP).

In 2003, he joined the European Pressphoto Agency (EPA) as a staff photographer, covering news in the Gaza Strip and the Palestinian Territories. His work has documented major events in the region, including the Second Intifada, Israel’s withdrawal from Gaza in 2005, the Hamas takeover of the Gaza Strip, and multiple wars between Israel and Gaza. He has also reported on the conflict in Egypt in 2013. 

His work has been awarded the Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) 2016 in the Father and Son Category; The Days Japan International Photojournalism Awards 2017; and Best Press Photo, Arab Journalism Award 2020.

Nuraldin continues to report from Gaza, documenting daily life and the human impact of ongoing conflict.
