Saskia Asser is a photography historian, curator, and author based in Amsterdam.
She has more than 25 years of experience at institutions such as Huis Marseille Museum for Photography, the Rijksmuseum, and World Press Photo. At World Press Photo, she conducted extensive research into the history of the organization and its collection of winning images.
Currently, Saskia is writing a PhD at the University of Groningen on the National Archives’ Spaarnestad Collection, one of the major press photo archives in the Netherlands.
