Tyrone Siu is a staff photojournalist with Reuters, based in Hong Kong, where he covers local and regional news across Asia and internationally.
His assignments have included the Hong Kong pro-democracy protests, the Rohingya refugee crisis, United States immigration enforcement operations, and the Israel/Palestine conflict.
Siu’s work has been recognised with several awards throughout his career, including the Pulitzer Prize for Breaking News Photography, Pictures of the Year International (POYi), and awards from the Atlanta Journalism Seminar and the Hong Kong Press Photographers Association (HKPPA).
