Marie Monteleone

Marie A. Monteleone is a Senior Photo Editor at Bloomberg News, where she curates and commissions compelling visual narratives for enterprise stories with a global reach.

She has been instrumental in expanding and diversifying Bloomberg’s network of freelance photographers across the globe, championing a wide range of visual voices and perspectives. With a career spanning leading media organizations, including ABC News, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, The New York Post, and W Magazine.

An advocate for contemporary photography, Monteleone is a sought-after speaker and mentor, having been invited to institutions and festivals such as Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, the International Center of Photography, Parsons School of Design, Leica Gallery New York, Cortona On The Move, S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, Women Photograph Workshop, Foto Festival Manzana 1, Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay, and the Eddie Adams Workshop.

She studied photography at Parsons School of Design in New York and continues to live and work in New York City, where she remains dedicated to championing impactful visual storytelling and the next generation of photographers.
