Ebrahim Noroozi

Ebrahim Noroozi (b. 1980) is a photographer from Tehran, Iran who began his professional career as a photographer with a domestic news agency in Iran. 

From 2008 to 2012, Noroozi was the director of the photo department of Ira Newspapers, Iran Sports, Iran Daily English, Al Wefaq Arabi, Jam-e-Jam and Jam-e-Jam Online. In 2009, he founded Iran International Photo Agency. 

Noroozi has reported extensively for the Associated Press in Iran, the United Arab Emirates, and Afghanistan. After many years working as a staff photographer for the Associated Press in Iran, he moved to Afghanistan, where he continues his work for Associated Press, producing important reports from Afghanistan under Taliban rule. 

His work has been published in major world media outlets such as Stern, Der Spiegel, The New York Times, Time, The Washington Post, The Los Angeles Times, Paris Match, El Pais, and National Geographic
