Born in 1983 in Elsinore, Denmark, Nikolai Linares lives and works as a photojournalist near Copenhagen.
Nikolai Linares graduated from the Danish School of Journalism in 2012 as a photojournalist. Since graduating, he has done editorial worked for national and international newspapers and magazines.
Nikolai Linares has won several awards including a prize in the Sony World Photography Awards in 2016. In 2017 he received a work grant from Sony, which made the story The Boys and the Bulls.
At least once a year, he takes time to make his own stories.
