Wally Skalij has been a staff photographer for the Los Angeles Times for over 21 years, and was a staff photographer at the Daily Breeze for five years.
Skalij has won numerous awards from organizations such as Pictures of the Year International (POYI) and Best of Photojournalism.
Skalij resides in Los Angeles with his wife, also a photojournalist with the Los Angeles Times.
