Previously, he co-founded the creative and online strategy agency Biro Creative, where he advised movement-building organizations like Greenpeace, WWF, and Avaaz.org on a number of Webby Award-winning and -nominated projects. Prior to that he served as senior editor at Adbusters magazine.
