Omnia Arfin received her degree in graphic design in 2007, after working for three years as a wedding photographer, and went on to do academic training in photography. She is currently studying for her master’s degree and working as a photography instructor, freelance graphic designer, and documentary photographer.
In 2012, she completed a photo story called “Differently Enabled” in a photojournalism workshop with NOOR Images, Al-Liquindoi and CIC in Egypt.
Her work has won numerous awards. One of her photographs was among the best 30 images in the 5th photography competition of the European Union, on the theme "women of new Egypt.”
