Romina Resuche

Argentina

In her early work she devoted herself to journalistic and audiovisual production and was linked to cultural and social projects born in times of crisis.

She approaches the curatorial field from, for and with photography. Resuche is interested in projects based on postproduction, relational aesthetics and the uses of the archive, producing site-specific exhibitions and accompanying work processes.

Resuche coordinates a residence-laboratory for photographers and projects related to photography, in the delta of Paraná river.

Throughout her career, she has written. Some of her articles are published in the cultural supplement Radar, by the newspaper Página 12. Resuche also participates with papers in colloquiums, encounters and conversation tables.

Her work is independent and she collaborates with initiatives and organizations linked to the image in her country, Argentina, as well as in Chile, Uruguay, Brazil and Mexico. She gives workshops and leads groups in various training programs or curatorial follow-up and festivals, such as Centro de la Imagen, Festival Internacional de Valparaíso (FIFV), SUB Plataforma Educativa y Turma, amongst others.
