Capucine Granier-Deferre

After studiying economy and graduating from Icart-Photo School in 2011, Capucine Granier-Deferre started following roma families over several months in Bondy. This work has been featured and published in Paris Match. She has then covered elections and aftermath in Tunisia and Egypt. This work has been shown during Bayeux War Correspondants Festival in autumn 2013.

In September 2012, She has covering the strike and demonstrations of formers Peugeot workers after the shutdown of the main Peugeot factory in France. This work has been featured in Perpignan, during Visa Pour l’Image festival. Since April 2014, Capucine Granier-Deferre is covering the ongoing conflict in east Ukraine. She already spent 5 months there.  Capucine Granier-Deferre is a freelancer currently working for the main national and international newspapers and magazines such as Paris Match, Le Monde and the The New York Times.
