He produces the award-winning “Out There” video series about the exploration of space, and has helped develop virtual-reality films about Pluto and Antarctica. In November 2016 he visited Antarctica with three other journalists from the New York Times: Graham Roberts, Evan Grothjan and Justin Gillis.
